Cabinet Approves the $ 3.4 Million Aid Package Requested by the Ministry of Economy for the National Budget of the Fiscal Year 1400

The cabinet meeting chaired by President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani at the Presidential Palace yesterday approved the $3.4 million Aid Package requested by the Ministry of Economy with the support of USAID to fight against COVID-19 for the national budget of the fiscal year 1400. According to a statement by ARG, after thanking the Ministry of Finance for the preparation of the draft of national budget for the fiscal year 1400, the cabinet members approved the draft. 

In less than a year, the outbreak of COVID-19 has also affected Afghanistan economically. Therefore, Ministry of Economy is determined and committed to take steps to recover from the catastrophic damage caused by this event and to strengthen the economic infrastructure of the people, in attracting financial aid and creating a channel of income for the people.
