Acting Minister of the Ministry of Economy Visits Parwan Province
H.E Dr. Karima Hamid Faryabi, Acting Minister of the Ministry of Economy traveled to Parwan province. While she was accompanied by General Fazluddin Ayar, governor of Parwan province, she put into exploitation a standard six-class school building of Al-Jehad-e-Totmandara School which is worth $ 150000 by High Impact Community Development Projects (HICDP) with the financial support of India.
H.E Dr. Faryabi also distributed 789 Food packs worth a total of $ 38,000 to families affected by the recent floods. The packages were prepared in coordination with the Islamic Relief NGOs and the Humanitarian Aid Society.
Dr. Faryabi thanked the governmental and non-governmental organizations for their supports and promised that she would spare no effort in coordinating assistance through NGOs and donor organizations to build shelters and infrastructure to the recent flood-hit families.
Further, Gen. Fazluddin Ayar, discussed on how to deal with the problems of recent flood-affected families and the assistance of governmental and non-governmental organizations. In the end, Mr. Ayar thanked Dr. Faryabi and other Aid Agencies on behalf of the local government of Parwan.
